New State Landcare Coordinator joins the team

We have recently welcomed Natalia Diaz to the LASA team! Natalia has taken on our brand new role of State Landcare Coordinator to boost support to our wonderful Landcare members around the state.

A quick word from Natalia:
“Hi! I’m Natalia and it’s a pleasure to introduce myself to the LASA community.

I have volunteered and worked in the environmental sector for 15+ years, which has taken me across various regions of South Australia and through the USA and Canada. I’ve always had an affinity for wildlife and our environment, so working in this sector was a given. I’ve worked across multiple areas from consulting, surveys and monitoring to data entry and volunteer coordination.

I’m stepping into the new State Landcare Coordinator role with excitement and eagerness to learn more about our members and how best we can support you and our environment. When I’m not working, I like doing the odd jigsaw puzzle or 2, or you might find me either out on the beach or along a walking trail (looking at all the finer details of nature). I look forward to getting out there and meeting you all.”

For all member enquiries please contact Natalia at coordinator@landcaresa.asn.au or 0408 967 216.

The State Landcare Coordinator role is funded by the South Australia Government through the Care for Landcare package.
