We’re looking forward to celebrating their achievements at the SA Landcare Awards ceremony where we will announce the winners and honour all finalists for their outstanding contributions.

2024 SA Landcare Awards Ceremony

Hosted by Gardening Australia’s Sophie Thomson, this inspiring event will recognise extraordinary South Aussies. We’re celebrating those who actively engage in climate action and work to create healthier, more resilient and productive Country and communities. From volunteers, Landcare groups and other environmental community groups, to farmers and landholders; from First Nations peoples to the next generation of Landcarers, the Landcare Awards program acknowledges the diverse range of individuals and organisations committed to addressing local environmental issues.

Event Details:

Port Augusta Cultural Centre – Yarta Purtli, the Barracks

Friday 3rd May 2024

Arrive from 5.30pm to check in. Event is 6.00 pm – 9.00 pm.

Online livestream available via the Landcare SA YouTube Channel.

  • Free tickets are available to current Landcare SA members. Click here to sign-up if you aren’t already a member.
  • We will be treated to a special tour with Sophie Thomson at the Arid Lands Botanic Gardens on the morning of Saturday 4th May. More information is provided during the checkout process.
  • A free chartered bus will be available from Adelaide to the Awards for ticket holders, if you require. Pickup/drops offs in Adelaide, Two Wells and Snowtown. Limited spaces available. More information during the checkout process. Generously sponsored by Greyhound Australia.
  • If you are unable to attend in-person but would still like to watch the Awards, we will be live online on the night. Keep an eye on our social media for the livestream link.
