KI Land for private land conservation program has been running now since 2018, successfully protecting close to 25,000ha of remnant bushland across 80 member properties.
Our conservation activities have ranged from:
• Private land conservation engagement with the KI community, landholders and students
• Wildlife camera surveys
• Long-term monitoring & seasonal biodiversity surveys in post fire landscapes
• Monitoring of KI dunnarts at 55 survey sites across 22 properties
• KI dunnart and Southern brown bandicoot radio tracking research
• We’ve built a large (395ha) feral cat exclusion fence around a critical refuge in partnership with Australian Wildlife Conservancy, and much more!
