NLP Regional Land Partnerships Request for Tender Now Open

The Regional Land Partnerships Request For Tender has been released on the AusTender website, with a closing date for tender submission is 28th February 2018, 3pm AEST.

Regional Land Partnerships is a major component of the $1 billion second phase of the National Landcare Program. The Australian Government has allocated $450 million to Regional Land Partnerships “to protect, conserve and provide for the productive use of Australia’s water, soil, plants and animals and the ecosystems in which they live and interact, in partnership with governments, industry and communities”.

The Australian Government is using an open tender procurement process to select and contract a Service Provider in each of 56 Management Units across Australia to design and deliver on-ground Environment Projects and Agriculture Projects at a regional scale, that support national priorities for natural resource management.

Service Providers will work with delivery partners and their Community to take a long term strategic approach to natural resource management, while delivering against the national outcomes set by the National Landcare Program. Services for Regional Land Partnerships will be delivered from July 2018 to June 2023.

The Departments will work together to manage this procurement process and will work with Service Providers to deliver Regional Land Partnerships over the next five years.
