Gawler Environment & Heritage Association (GEHA) undertakes and supports projects for environmental protection and restoration. Since 1998 GEHA has operated a volunteer native plant nursery and including supporting the Understorey Project over recent years. GEHA has been active in several projects working with First Nations people. GEHA is also active in promoting action for environmental sustainability and action on global warming and the impacts of climate change.
