2020 National Landcare Awards – postponed until August 4 – 6, 2021
As you are aware, the National Landcare Conference was scheduled this year for November 11th to 13th 2020. Due to COVID-19, the National Landcare Conference Steering Committee have announced the conference will now take place on August 4th to 6th, 2021 at the International Convention Centre, Sydney. The conference steering committee received 162 outstanding abstracts to help create the conference program. To ensure we promote the content submissions, LAL will soon launch a conference webinar series to showcase the great projects taking place across Australia. More information will made available in September.

The Conference Steering Committee received excellent submissions of abstracts for the below four conference streams:
Sustainable Agriculture: Innovation and technology, soil health, adaptation to climate change, integrating productivity and conservation.
Environment & Climate Change: How to encourage individuals to take positive action to mitigate climate change with Landcare?
Community Partnerships in Action: Building community capacity and resilience, communication and storytelling, volunteering, partnerships, building and sharing knowledge.
Landcare Impact: Landscape, biodiversity, community resilience, mental and physical health of individuals, community wellbeing, agriculture productivity, economy.
