What Landcare means to me.’

Open Art Prize 1st Prize $200 Runner-up $50
Open Aboriginal Art Prize 1st Prize $200 Runner-up $50
Youth Aboriginal Art Prize 1st Prize $100 Runner-up $50
Youth Art Prize 1st Prize $100 Runner-up $50
Primary School Categories: R-2, Years 3-5 and Years 6-7 1st Prize $50 book voucher

Youth – Artists under 18 years of age as at 25th August, 2017.
Aboriginal – Artists of Aboriginal descent.

A Certificate of Commendation will be awarded for other artworks in each category of outstanding calibre with the theme ‘Celebrating Innovation and Diversity in Landcare – What Landcare means to me.’
(NB Prizes awarded in the Youth categories will be presented as book vouchers to the value of the prize)

Landcare is about improving the health of our environment.
It is our Air, Watercourses, Soils, Coasts, Native Flora and Fauna;
On Aboriginal, Agricultural, Community, Government and Private Lands;
In our Cities, Towns, Suburbs, Peri-urban, and Open lands and waters.
Landcare is about understanding, listening, learning and doing,
Working with others, or on our own special projects,
Sharing the passion and enjoyment which is Landcare.
