The Port MacDonnell Landcare Group (PMLG ) have a long history of delivering large and small scale revegetation and weed control projects in the lower limestone coast region of South Australia. Established in 1973, it is one of the longest running Landcare groups in the state. New members are always welcome.

We have been instrumental in creating and restoring Germein Reserve to the valuable habitat that it provides today for a range of local plants and animals.
Over the last 40 years we have been highly successful in accessing funding to help revegetate Mt Schank, created local wildlife corridors through private land, rehabilitated local caves, helped restore coastal habitat, planted native woodlots and established seed orchards, developed walking trails, undertaken pest plant and animal control, helped restore wetlands and trialed new techniques to increase biodiversity in the Lower South East of South Australia.
