The Native Orchid Society of South Australia promotes the conservation of Australian native orchids through cultivation and the preservation of naturally occurring orchids and natural habitat. This includes many different types of activities such as growing native orchids, teaching people how to grow and care for native orchids, field trips, journal, monitoring and orchid surveys, weeding, and at our new site establishing a native corridor with orchid plantings. We sell our orchids to members, members of the public and re-vegetation sites in the interest of maintaining biodiversity and making species less vulnerable to extinction.
