LASA’s Wild Wellbeing project – applications close April 23rd

LASA’s Wild Wellbeing project – apply now!

An expression of interest is available for Landcare groups wishing to take part in LASA’s Wild Wellbeing project in 2021. The Wild Wellbeing project aims to combine conservation work with honest conversations, self-exploration and mental health self-care techniques.

The project is funded by the 10 x 10 Philanthropic Organisation after a successful pitch by LASA Management Committee members Nat Sommerville and Sarah Barrett back in November 2019. Since then, LASA has been trying to leverage extra funding by applying for other complimentary grants. A total pool of $8,000 of funding is now available for 8 Landcare Groups ($1,000 each) who would like to hold a Wild Well Being planting event in their area during the 2021 planting season.

  • Please submit your EOI to execofficer@landcaresa.asn.au by COB  April 23rd 2021.
  • The 8 successful Landcare groups will be notified by May 3rd 2021.
  • Successful groups will need to complete their event between 3rd of May and 31st July 2021
  • Successful groups will be asked to send their receipts from materials purchased and a short report with photographs for inclusion in the LASA newsletter by August 31st 2021.

The Wild Well Being Expression of Interest form can be accessed via the LASA website here.
